hi my baby had given her 10 th week vaccine....wt is the difference between painful vaccine n pain less vaccine....i have given her painless vaccine bt she cried a lot coz of pain.....wil it both works same r any difference in it....I heard tat vaccine is nt good for the babies is it true r its just a rumour...pls help me out....

Painless vaccine does not mean no pain at the time of the shot. It means that there will be little or no discomfort after the vaccine. In the regular one babies have body ache and fever for about 48 hours post the shot. The painless option is on the IAP recommended list and hence no cause for concern.

nothing as it is not good. painless is accepted to be given its just that baby will not get fever and feel low. they continue to be normal and in the non painless one children will get fever and cry a lot. but both are good
