Q:

My baby is 2 months one week old. Is it good time to start to giving the water in this hot summer?

Pls share your valuable opinions

Hey Mom . I understand your concerns as summers have started and we are very much quencing our thirst. But we also have to understand that the baby has the ability to digest the breastmilk and this helps to strengthen the gut of the child . WHO recommends giving water only after the age of 6 months. You can take more intake of water and via breastfeeding it will be taken by the child. I hope this helps

I would not suggest that. You baby will get the required amount of hydration from the breastmilk. Continue breastfeeding your baby regularly. once your baby is 6 moths and above you can start giving some amount of water
