Q:

Good morning doctor... I have been advised to do a planned c-section for my second baby. My first one was also a c-section. We're currently posted in a remote plane where a good maternity hospital is 2 hours away. Is it advisable to deliver there or should we decide for hometown delivery back at native place? Will doing delivery at the current place be advisable? Please suggest...

Hi, I would suggest you to go for your hometown or native place. After c section you might not be comfortable travelling back home for 2 hours. Plus you will need lots of help and support from your family.

Okay, thank you for the suggestion

Hi, I would suggest you to go for your hometown or native place. You will have your family to take care of your little one also and in summers travelling should be avoided.

Yes Ma'am... Thank you for the advice..

Hey try going back to your hometown as you will have family and friends who will be there for yiur support. Try avoid long travels as much as possible

Okay Ma'am.. also in in my 27th wk, till when is travel advisable?

It depends on your pregnancy healthy. Always get a checkup done before you plan to travel to make sure it's safe
