Please help with a good stool softener for adults. My mother inlaw is suffering badly with constipation and nothing is helping. Any home remedy that sure shot helps will also work.



The first thing is water, give her ample amount of liquids. Papaya works great. She can even have sprouts, it's rich in fibres and proteins. Veggies like pumpkin, broccoli, lady's finger etc will hell. Regarding stool softener you can ask recommendation from her doctor.
