Q:

What food should I eat while traveling during pregnancy to avoid traveling sickness? Dr Pooja Marathe

Since flying on airplanes can be dehydrating, pregnant women should stay away from foods high in sodium and instead pack food that's rich in fibrous carbs, healthy fats, and lean protein — like nuts, fruit, and whole-grain crackers. Getting adequate sleep is just as important as eating right.

Do frequent leg exercises. Walk regularly (in the case of air travel, walk around the aircraft cabin if the flight is smooth). Avoid dehydration by drinking plenty of water.
