Q:

Hi Everyone,
My son 2 years 4 months and we live in a nuclear set up. So we took the decision of sending him to playschool so that he can mingle with more people and kids.  Initially one week  he was very happy with all the new toys nd atmosphere .  But now he is crying a lot before going and just doesn't want to go. I am really worried as to Wat to do.  Shud I continue sending him or I shud I give him some break.  Have I started it too early considering his age . Though I am sending him only for 1 hr but not able to decide.

Hello dear,; u can talk with his teacher about his crying before cming to school.; She might help u out.; Also explain him in a loving way of creating new friends.; U can also call his playgroup friends at hme so that he can relate to them. 😊

Hi Arohi. My daughter use to do same thing. I joined her to playschool when she was just 2 yrs.She was afraid of living me then I convinced her that i will be outside school waiting for her and I use to go there before they leave class. Later after few days she got adjusted. If he cries then tell him how fun is to go to school. So many toys and friends. If teachers are friendly they wil adjust quickly.

Thank you Dhara and Vidya for valuable suggestions.  I m sending him only for one hour currently.  Teachers are saying that gradually he will adjust with the atmosphere.
