Anne just love the way ur child is. You are the one who can either make or break her confidence. If you accept and love the skin color she got, she will be such a confident kid who will know how to love herself. don't all of us want that? Pl accept her color. Don't u see such darker skin colored women around who are doing so well for themselves and are really appreciated and respected? Do that to ur kid too! We are here to help u with it. Please invest in her and tell her she is a beautiful child. Hugs!

Skin color to me personally does not matter. Please let her growp up as a confident girl with strong will power instead. A healthy child is one who is well fed and has a friendly encryption

yes absolutely... I'm actually not such a color prejudice person.. but d comments I get from ppl around Hurts me... n I don't want her to go thru d differential treatment which a given among kids... n then b questioned by her when she gets older... coz I have seen Hw much of humiliation my sister underwent in her childhood days.. n it took so much for her to b confident n also my mom went thru a lot wit it... so if atleast der s something to b done, I was rather do it, than c her being ridiculed by it..

Dear Anne, babies take their genetic structures from various family members either from your side or your husband's. So, it is possible for Baby to have its own color, irrespective of yours. Sometimes the color of the skin changes as the babies are growing, either a shade darker or lighter but all this will happen naturally. Please do not use any creams etc. to make the skin fairer, which might harm/ affect soft baby skin. Also, in today's day and age what really matters is that the baby grows healthy and with lots of love. Babies, when they grow might have inferiority complex, if they get to know that you are concerned about their skin color. So, please leave this fear and let your baby be a happy child and proud of her skin!
