Hi, almost every evening I feel sad and depressed. Is it the hormones? I hope it will not impact baby.

Possibly the hormones.. during pregnancy lots of changes happen in our body.. try to keep yourself occupied.. spend some time in your hobby.. read books listen to music.. hope you feel better

Dont worry be happy! Please try doing something u love every evening...maybe u can have ur favourite chocolate or listen to your fav song, step out for a stroll or drive with ur loved one, talk on the phone...basically do something u like to do...dont sit idle keep urself occupied. I used to do paper quilling when i was pregnant and i enjoyed it every bit.

Dear Pavneet, During pregnancy the body and mind undergo a transformation. Some times it is the hormones but if this sadness persists for more than 2 weeks, you need to seek help from a professional so we can nip the depression in it’s early stages. However, if it’s an on and off thing, the hormonal fluctuations are definitely at play and it could be attributed to it but try and monitor your mood. If evenings make you sad try listening to upbeat music or some light hearted movie. Step out of the house and may be take a walk around the area with a friend. Try reading a good light book.Let us know how you feel.
