Q:

Buddies let me know on this thing--If my number of weeks and delivery date, came as same via LMP as well as first dating scan, will the delivery date remain same even via further scans? asha chaudhry Richa Chowdhary

asha chaudhry

I reckon so!!! To be honest i found this very confusing in my time lolz!

Satarupa B Kaur

Haha..; yes I am Alwys confused..; when someone tells me month wise and I go by the week wise system.

Dr. Payal M

Not; necessarily.
Baby growth affects the delivery date via ultra sound- so it may keep changing, whereas that via LMp remains same.

Nilofer shaikh

Dr. Payal M my scan date has always been 1 week more than my lmp date. And in the last scan it showed 2 weeks difference. What does that mean????

Satarupa B Kaur

Thanks Dr. Payal M I'll be going for my anomaly scan this weekend or coming week. What should the baby weight be normally?

Vipra Naik

My LMP n scanning due dt was different.; I was always confused 😕

Shreya Singh

Mine was same thru out

Dr. Payal M

Nilofer shaikh a difference of upto two weeks is ok. If the growth is adequate with reference to previous scans then nothing to worry

Dr. Payal M

Satarupa B Kaur it would be 240-300 GM's. But this is just a general guideline, plus minus is normal plus growth from previous scan is important.

Satarupa B Kaur

Thanks for the info Dr. Payal M. Appreciate much.

Dr. Payal M

Most welcome Satarupa,( this is for 19-20 week fetus).

Richa Chowdhary
