Hello ladies! Has anybody here heard of consuming dates in the last month of pregnancy to help in normal delivery, reduce labor hours and also to get rid of heart burn ? Thanks in advance !

Satarupa B Kaur

Dear having dates in absolute moderation is okay at any time however, nothing but the Final position of baby and labour pattern will dictate the nature of birth.

Hey eating dates has nothing to do with normal delivery dear ..of course it's a great source of iron and other vital nutrients.. ..

Hi kavya.
I have heard eating dates as you enter 9th month is beneficial. I have also followed a youtube channel feelgoodmama where she has explained things she did trimester wise and it seems quite relatable and natural. Try watching her videos. And for dates. I wouldn't be able to gaurantee or vouch for any thing but everyone in my family has instructed me to eat dates in final days. My sil did eat and she delivered within 2-4 hrs of being in the hospital. So i will go by their instincts. However it is advised not to eat much dates in the initials days
