Q:

Yesterday my little one and I had a standoff.
She would not relent and apologized for what she did wrong and I couldn't let what happened passed.
She sulked and sat on the kitchen floor and didn't make amends. After 20 mins I realized she has fallen off to sleep!!
Kids truly have a way of making your heart melt!!
Today is a new day and its all in the past. #parenting #parentinglife

awwwwww. my awwwww for the day :)

i can relate to this so well. manveen. hugs!

asha chaudhry I've realized not everything needs to be said. She did feel bad and that's enough :)

So imp to not give in, isn’t it Manveen ?

Neha Agarwal I wouldn't say that. The minute it becomes a power struggle between kids and us we are doomed. So sometimes I do let go somethings depending on the situation.

Well, a lit to learn, especially in this domain. I feel ,disciplining a kid is important but how to do it Right without being too harsh on them which impacts their still learning and evolving brain is important! Regulating Behaviour as much as nurturing them with love ,care and pampering to an extent is required! I liked the way you did it Manveen..

Ritu Singal thank you. We often overlook that they are individuals too and with them comes a sense of self-respect.
