I dont understand why your doctor has denied eating dry fruits... But lemme tell you dry fruits are a must during pregnancy... Atlease almonds and dates one can have...
Restrictions are only for excess junk food, oily food and spicy food.. But then too according to your craving for certain type of food doctors do suggest to have everything in moderation..
I'll then too suggest you to have a word with your gynac..
Because your gynac knows your case better... All the best

Pregnancy Must-Know
Pregnancy Foods - read the articles under the links provided up. Also i feel your doc might have suggested not to have dry fruits for now as you are in early pregnancy and it is also summer time, some dry fruits have heat generating peoperties. Though many experts deny any harm from dry fruits but many elders also suggest not to have in first trimester specially if you have a difficult pregnancy. My doc dint restrict me from anything. Infact she even told i can have all the fruits but everything in moderation however i conpletely avoided papaya, pineapple and some dry fruits. PS:if yoymu are very keen, you can try soaking some dry fruits overnight and have in morning twice/thrice a week . Just a suggestion.
Also see to eat whatever you eat,you eat in moderation. Anything in excess can be a harm. So limited quantity is the key
All the best for the new beginninh!!!

First trimester is a sensitive phase and dry fruits like walnuts and figs are warm in nature. So avoid them in first trimester if u have been advised so. Overnight soaked almonds are safe. Just 4-5.
Papaya and pineapple can cause miscarriage so they are not at all recommended in first trimester.
They cause uterine contractions.
U can have coconut water daily. It is very rich in nutrients. And will keep u hydrated in this summer heat.
U can have Fresh fruits and juices.

Yeah It is safe to have it. But instead of artificial flavours fresh juices should be preferred.
