My baby sleeps during day for about 5-6 hours.but from 1-6am shes aake in d night.i dono how to make her sleep in the night.plz help.

Don't worry dear.. it takes about 5 months for baby sleeps at night... Keep room darker, use zero bulb, put on light cloths, feed baby when she is sleeping... If baby wakes also play with baby so that she is tied and falls asleep soon.. Sing a song, play soft music u get many on YouTube. Massage baby with u fingers lightly on the head and hairs..

Keep the day time environment noisy and bright. Make sure you awaken the baby every two hours during the day and feed and be playful. This is the only way that her body clock will start switching around. At night keep things quiet dark and try to talk as less as possible with her.

Since my child was about one and a half months, I began to make him practice sleeping at night. If he is kept awake from 6pm till 10pm, then he will sleep at night to confirm. At first it is very difficult but slowly this time he will play and sleep at night. Before sleeping, be aware that she is full of stomach and the light is low. Make your child's hands, feet, face, eyes clean before sleeping in the night. Wear clean clothes and give new diapers. The baby sleeps very well.

You have to follow a routine and tell her everyday that this is night time, its time to sleep. Change her into night suit, dim the lights, keeo energy low, dont play with her in night. It won't come in a day, would take at least 15-20 days for her to set a routine. Ensure that she takes a good nap in afternoon but not evening. 15-20 mins here and there is fine. Show her day, take her out and talk to her. Gradually she will learn ! All the best.
