Q:

Nutricia Dexolac or Nan? what is the difference? hospital has given Dexolac...but I see many parents giving Nan? how should one choose what to give? doctors say to only give Mother's milk.

Am not sure about the difference as my baby was always breastfed, but my doctor had always advised Nan Pro if required. Breastmilk is always the best for the baby. keep formula as a backup! do not start unless required. the longer the baby is fed, the better for mom n baby.

Moms using Formula may help you with the difference

Dexolac is prescribed only if the baby is born with a weight of 2.5ks and less that is pre-term and low birth weight, so you can use it till your baby reaches a weight of 2.5 to 3 kgs then on only with drs prescription you can change it to lactogen or nan or Enfamil A+.
