Thank u Neha.. have u tried it
Pooja i am having oats.. it increases supply ... Also i have had fenugreek.
Ok I had shatavari powder and my pead gave tablet I tried that also.. I lost my hopes of BM to my lo..; now it's coming little bit but it's not sufficient to my baby.. and I'm feeding formula milk with bottle is it ok r I need to give by spoon
How do you know that your milk is not sufficient for the baby? Does baby cries while feeding? If the answer is no than the milk is sufficient. Does the baby keeps asking for feeding every few minutes? If the answer is yes than it does not mean that ur milk is insuffecient. If babies keep asking for milk every few minutes which means the baby himself is increasing your milk production to meet his future needs. So feed him as and when he demands this is the best way to increase your milk supply. Other home remedies are
1)drink a glass of water before feeding
2)add protein to your diet. Millets(bajra) is the magical grain to increase breast milk.
3)shatawari kalph with milk thrice a day make sure buffalo milk not cows milk as it creats gas also works wonder. (Better keep check on your weight)
4)oats with milk another best ingredient
5)use breast pump when your baby is sleeping, this will also increase the supply
Lacter medicin is an ayurvedic medicin (concentrated shatavari in it) better consult a doctor or lactation specialist before having it.
Try home remedies just for few days. U may not require to feed your baby on top of your milk.
Njoy motherhood breastfeeding is a bliss you are doing a great job mom.
No bottle.. give with spoon or paladai.. they will stop taking breast once used to bottle also wud create nipple confusion for dem.. keep ur mind free n think ur getting enuf milk n baby is satisfied.. sure there will be boost in ur supply.. latch ur baby often which also helps in increasing milk.
She always want to latching every time.. if I unlatch her she will cry a lot.. I'm confused.. in my home elders say if get sufficient milk she only live u r breast sleep nicely.. if get stomach is not full she will cry so..
Pooja there will be growth spurt n all.. so baby wants to be latched continuously.. u pls leave it as such... Dont think less milk n all. Automatically ur milk will increase
Ok thank you for your advice.. I'll do this
Pooja even i had went through the same phase, elders say that as per their experience. But babies of this generation are different. If he cries while latched which means he is either getting too much or too less. But if he feeds peacefully and only cries when you unlatch which means he is njoys your cuddle or maybe he sleeps while feeding as they are too small and get tired fast. Or maybe he is scared. Anything and everything the babies experiences in this age all they understand is to latch. So just njoy this phase, even a trapped gas may want him to come and latch so just njoy this phase later years you will miss this phase, post two months you will be out of baby blues and after 3 months you will so much njoy feeding your baby that you may never wish to compliment it with other meals aftr 6 months.
I struggled my way with my baby's support and dint fall for formula milk idea which only and only decrease your supply.
This is my suggestion and experience. Rest you are the right person to decide over. Feeding formula milk will no make you a less mother. Luv to u and ur baby😘😘
Thank you so much.. I'll stop top feeding..
Green vegetables, suve ka paani, bajre ki lapsi....
Pooja add fenugreek ladoo, almonds, shatavari kalp in milk, bajra, gond ke ladoo in your diet
