I have combination skin (more towards oily) but my skin always looks dull. I try and drink fluids, I know i don't drink enough :( I eat lots of fruit and fish so that's not the issue. Could you recommend a good face wash and an easy to make face pack i could do on the weekends since i really don't have the bandwidth or the inclination to do anything elaborate over the weekends.

Also, how often should I be getting a facial done? I am 46 yrs old. TIA!

My genuine answer.. You look good as the way you are, so leave as it is. I don't see any burai in your skin. If you insist then apply egg White on your face and wash.

1. Glycerin 1 spoon, pinch sugar powder and rose water. Mix well and apply on your skin. Leave for 10 mins and wash. This will be good.
2. Wash and sundry masoor dal. Then powder it. To this add "amba haldi" powder( available online) mix both well and store in airtight jar. Once in a week...mix this powder with plain water or lemon juice and apply as face pack. This will reduce blemish, brighten your face.
Thanks asha for this question. I feel when someone ask question and when we will give answer to them ... its mostly for us. Thats the answer we are looking for.

I use Himalaya face wash....I like tree from body shop.

Hello mam, you can try a pack over weekends which I love to the core...make a paste of coffee, sugar and Malai.. Apply it all over the face and neck keep it for 5-10 minutes and then scrub it down as we use any other scrub and wash it off...taddaa you will feel your skin well exfoliated and fresh.......also I have never used any face wash instead I prefer to use a baby soap for my face..trust me it will do wonder...I am 30 and HV always received compliments for my skin

Are you taking enough sleep asha chaudhry asha di?, that is one of; the beauty essentials for a glowing skin; without it no pack or facial will work :) secondly yes, keep yourself hydrated thru out the day; why don't you try my detox water which I posted, cucumber mint fused water _ just keep on sipping in between meals, you will feel a difference .And when ever you are free just rub inside portion of a tomato peel (skin) or a papaya cube or aloe Vera gel .You can also add a drop of vitamin e capsule ( liquid) in the daily cream you are using. Start massaging your face with few drops of; Johnson's baby oil and rose water; it leaves your skin super soft; try these and you will feel difference. But yes nothing works without proper sleep and if you stress, so smile a lot :))
