My son is 4.5 years. He is interested in most of the activities like counting, coloring and painting.

But he is unable to remember the alphabets. And he hates writing. I am working on his fine motor skills also. But those activities are also not helping him get interested to write.

Hi...If the child is not able to remember the alphabets...try to associate the sound to the alphabet...ask him to listen to the sound and write the alphabet. It is difficult to comment on the basis of few pointers .We will have to understand the child in depth as in wht the child is avoiding;; writing related task...is it because he has visual perceptual issues or is he not able to process the sound properly or is he not able to retain the information? There could be many factors triggerring him to avoid writing. We need to explore on these areas and then work.

Dear Rachita, I would suggest consulting an Occupational Therapist. Hope this helps!
