I think its better to consult dr and take. i do ask my bestie whats working for her and always mention that to my dr eg for well woman or women specific supplements. Very good q priya.

It's not good to take supplements unnecessarily, the food you eat is more than enough. We miss the direct dose of calcium and vitamins and opt for indirect dose.

Well doctor had suggested but I don't take as scared because during pregnancy I used to take shell cal and it caused constipation.; So taking just milk and paneer ..
But hubby says insipte of taking all this you should go out in the sunlight so as this vit D abposbtion takes place otherwise it's of non-use ...:-)

I guess the usual supplements over the counter work well post 35 years. However, if you've got pains anywhere and wanna start calc,best to get One prescribed.
