I guess, its a combination of many things! Check the latch,if that's fine. Check if the baby is sleeping while feeding, wake him up and make him finish his feed! Baby is too small as of now,so usually this small babies tend to confort suck which seems like the case and it's perfectly fine for them to do this. It will help in establishing your milk supply for their increasing need. Understand this that though it takes very less time to fill their tummy, same goes for emptying it too. One pee and it's gone. It will be like this until few months when they will start retaining some food in their tummy for longer time. As of now baby do take time to eat as their sucking is slow and they are still learning! They either suck, cry or sleep, that's what they know best at this age! Let him suckle for as long as he wants if he is latching correctly. Sleep when the baby sleeps during day time. Forget sleeping at night for a few months. Hang in there Momma, it will get better!
