Hi ... I am 10 weeks pregnant . My haemoglobin levels are very low as 6.2...pls tell me how to improve my hb levels ?

Eat lot of greens,beetroot and beetroot leaves, flaxseed, dates, anjeer etc. If you are having iron tablets then have; with orange juice or lemon juice.

Take iron supplements. Talk to ur doctor, u may need to have some treatment. Also eat iron Rich foods like Ragi, greens, dates, nuts, drumstick etc

Also dates are good source. Pomegranates juice too. Chana laddoos made with jaggery also helps in increasing hb

It's too low. Please talk to your doctor. Iron supplement are required. Dr. Shilpitha Shanthappa can suggest better if there is possiblilty of any any other medical problem behind this less Hb.

Ur haemoglobin level is too less, i hope ur dr. Has already prescribed u medicines along with medicines try to include these as well in ur deit, don't worry levels will increase as u have much time for delivery.... Vegetarian: spinach, asparagus, broccoli, green peas, tomatoes, bell peppers, cauliflower, potatoes, fenugreek leaves, beans. Fruits: Beetroot, pomegranate, watermelon, apple, apricot, oranges, strawberries, banana, mulberries, guava, litchis, kiwi. Non vegetarian: Whole egg, chicken liver, meat, seafood. Other foods: dates, almonds, amla, raisins, prunes, pumpkin seeds, dried beans, sprouts, peanuts, soyabeans, currants, legumes( soya nuts, red kidney beans, chickpeas, black-eyed peas, black beans, lentils, fava beans) starch and grains, brown rice, dark chocolates, whole grains, yogurt, daal , rajma, sesame seeds.

Pumpkin is a very good source for increase in hemoglobin levels....
Also ask doctor if you and your husband need to check for thalassemia?

Eat beetroot, spinach, pomegranate, dates, banana stem, banana Blossom's, banana. Also, chexk with your doc. She will give you some iron tablet.
