Hi friends,

For past few days, i am having pain starting from the thigh joint and it moves down the leg. It is not severe, but slightly discomforting. I donnot wake up with this pain, it usually starts after i am back from work. Is it normal or is there something to worry.

Also, please tell me if there are any exercise or home remedies besides massage to get receive from the pain.

Hi Annie. This is happening because ur nutritional requirements have increased. I hope u are taking calcium and vitamin D supplements. If not u need to start them asap under ur docs supervision. Have atleast 2.5 litres of water throughout the day. If ur at a desk job ensure that u get up every hour and just walk around for 1 to 2 minutes to give ur muscles some movement. Sleep with a pillow between ur thighs and one supporting ur back.

I have started calcium supplements but thedoc has not advised any vitamin D yet. There is nothing to worry rite, Dr. Neha D. Khodke ?
