is a weight issue during pregnancy as I was 91 when I was confirmed about pregnancy but nw I am 98. I am currently in third trimester.



i was told that a healthy weight gsin during pregnancy is in the range of 10. i myself gained 10-12 kgs.

healthy pregnancy is weight should be increased more than 15kgs till baby ends up with 6 months. so don't wry.. try to reduce is weight later.. not now

I need to know will there be a problem at time of delivery. As everyone in my family is worried about my weight.

there is no relationship between weight and delivery... I was 123kgs during delivery..

I understand that but even doctors are raising this issue over and over again. so this has made everyone worried in my family. please help me with it...

shilpi u will need to consult a nutritionist for this as u need expert help. I would suggest get expert help for this. which city are you based in?

Shilpa...are you going for prenatal yoga? that's super helpful in natural birthing and also recovery later. If not, please go for a prenatal yoga class near you (search on BabyChakra) and do at least some basic exercises. Kegels, breathing, ankle rotation etc - Trust me, it will help you immensely.

Hi Shilpa , a healthy weight gain in pregnancy usually doesn't involve only the numbers on the weighing scale , it involves a healthy diet which is small frequent meals every 2/3 hours which is filled with all necessary nutrients & a good prenatal workout , not to forget a stress free day. More importantly with your weight gain , Is the baby getting all the nutrients & baby is gaining weight adequately should also be considered .
