Q:

I am 8 months pregnant and according to my tests report my sugar level is increased though i strictly follow my diet and also avoid sugar...now what should do or eat to decrease my sugar...here is my report copy

dear you are suffering from gestational diabetes .please refer to your gynaecologist she will refer you to a sugar specialist. they may advise insulin for rest of your pregnancy period. take a proper diet chart and totally avoid sugar intake , also fruits which have more glucose. don't worry much and show to your doctor and take proper advice . also ask to check amniotic fluid level..because in most of the cases it increases due to sugar level increase. ... all the best

also though you have not taken sugar much you may have diabetes in pregnancy because your body is unable to generate insulin which is more required in pregnancy then in normal case.its generally hidden in body. I too suffered gestational diabetes and it was controlled with insulin shots and diet
