Hi,I am 25 weeks pregnant now and have low Haemoglobin..Can anyone suggest some iron rich food supplements apart from Pomegranate and Lotus stem..

For low HB levels it is important to increase iron rich foods and protein rich foods in your diet. Iron would be green leafy vegetables, dry fruits like raisins dates and figs, legumes like chole and rajma, red meat etc. Proteins are pulses legumes eggs meat fish nuts etc.

banana flower is extremely rich in iron...can have two times in a week....plus have soaked two muneka( big raisin) 2walnut 1 date & 4almonds...early morning..!! raisin increase ur hg level...!!
