Q:

Is travelling safe during 35th/36th week of pregnancy? It's going to be a 9 to10 hrs road journey.

Ritu V

It will stress and, drain you out. Please consult your doctor if the travel is unavoidable. You can opt for a more comfortable mode of transportation like by train or plane. Road journeys that also this long will cause you a lot of discomfort.

Sonali Shivlani

A ten hour road trip can be very exhausting. When you get overly tired you may actually trigger contractions. You can consult your doctor and if essential and the doctor gives the go ahead please travel by train. You will not be able to get a boarding card for flight travel as it is against all airlines policy to allow a pregnant mom beyond 34 weeks to fly.
