hi, i just had my nt scan, it says everything is fine except low placenta, is that common and what care should i take with this? is travelling an option?

Sonali Shivlani

A low lying placenta means that the placenta is very close to the mouth of the uterus. This can result in some cases of spotting or bleeding. Women are advised to take it easy and some exercises are also contraindicated. If there is no spotting then normal day to day activities are fine. For travel please check with your doctor
