m sorry to ask, but why mango not to eaten deepika? according to my knowledge, all fruits other than papaya and pineapple are allowed during pregnancy...
yes we can eat .....but this season you do not get gud mango....plz wait for few months.....no problem....if you want to have have one piece of mango

ok, just asked... ya mango is hot, but then everything eaten in moderation is fine... one can balance it out by having cooling foods such as watermelon, cucumber etc... seasonal fruits are full of good vitamins and minerals, so it is good to have... its also high in fibre, so good for constipation.. you have to consume large numbers to have any side effect...
eating mango or any fruit will not harm the baby in anyway. it's just that it has to be taken in moderation and not in empty stomach. a strict diet pattern to be followed. I used to eat papayas too (not adviceing you to do so) throughout my pregnancy in all the 3 pregnancies it's just that how much I ate matters.

There is no harm in eating a small portion of mango. Mango is not a hot fruit that is a myth. Nature produces mango in the warm weather and hence it actually has a cooling effect. Eat mango as a snack to ensure you don't have the excess sugar effect. Having mango like aam raas or milk shake with lot of sugar can lead to excessive weight gain.

there is a myth that pineapple and papaya should not be consumed in pregnancy but I had both and all was well. but pineapple and papaya before eating please check with your Dr .
hey meju, people say don't eat. i mean the elders. Actually papaya and pineapple in large quantities do cause uterine contractions. although it has to be in large quantities, and i am not going to mention how much, just for the sake of not giving out ideas to anyone... infact there are many foods which cause uterine contractions, but we are having them on a daily basis because in small amounts they do not cause any harm.
