I have a similar prob (21 weeks pregnant), showed it to the dentist who wrote down procedures required, then I got my gyanecs consent for the same. . for x-ray, my gyanecs insisted the dentist uses a lead shield.

Tooth related problems are common in pregnancy due to hormone changes, however consult a dentist, as it can lead to infection....  a simple cleaning can also get a great relief. Dont forget to inform him/ her that ur pregnant.

Consult your gyno along with dentist. Mention him that you are carrying. certain painkillers and anaesthetic dose they may avoid. Meanwhile you can keep a clove on that affected tooth...to numb the region. ( do it only if you are comfortable). Take care.
