hi all, my baby is eight months old. can I give her body massage in winters too? if yes, then which oil should I prefer? Also, it should be done before bath or after bath?

hi thr my baby is 8 months too in winter I avoid massage give her bath in two days once or else try sponge bath soak sponge or cloth in warm water rub baby body with that

Hi Neetu. You can still apply oil just keep the room at a comfortable temperature. Apply immediately before bathing. Winters the skin would get dry so i continued to apply oil. If you feel on days its very cold you can skip.

Neetu absolutely you can massage your little one. :)

Thanks priya and babychakra :-)

You can massage your baby all through the year. Massage for baby is for comfort and relaxation of baby so the there is no specific time of the day or year to do it. Preferbly use coconut oil and do the massage before bath or if you plan to do it in evening clean the baby with sponge after massage.
Massaging the baby is a great time to bond with the baby. Make sure you or your hubby enjoy this time with the baby by massaging.

Thanks Dr Riddhi for ur valuable suggestion:-)
