BabyChakra

Hey Rekha. If your baby is meeting major milestones but most importantly happy and active baby, do not worry. You my still want to consult a development pediatrician.

rekha sagar

can u guide one of pediatrician

Sheetal Rai

don't worry rekha. every baby is different and will reach milestones according to their abilities. don't push them too hard. if ur baby is active and feeding well. den u really don't need to worry. my baby started sitting unsupported only after 6 months. if ur baby has gained enough head control. u can make her sit for like a minute or so with support all around her. and day by day increase the duration. but only till the time ur baby is comfortable.

sitting and crawling are very varied milestones, it can change from baby to baby... for eg. some babies sit late, some do not crawl, and directly stand. my baby can sit unsupported, but he just won't sit! he is trying to stand... but 2 years age, all babies become equal on the milestone achievement. so don't worry, you can make him sit with support for a few minutes every day.

The Tips are indicative of when you can expect to see certain changes but don't get worried if it hasn't happened yet.

@rekha don't worry. All milestones are always indicative. Give or take a few days even 2/3 weeks.
