hi Ashwini, first of all, keep the rooms airy... babies are not able to sweat like us, so they get heated more quickly... make babybwear loose clothes, at times, ditch the clothes for sometime a day when he is awake and you are near... give a bath twice a day, once with plain water, no soap... at night, before sleeping give a wipe with baby wipes... dont use powder, it makes skin dry, and keep baby's skin moisturised with a good moisturising lotion... give massage with coconut oil...
Also ensure that you wipe your baby's face with a soft cotton wet cloth after every feed.
Dr. Shilpitha Shanthappa
-First, cool the skin by gently applying a cold, wet washcloth for ten to 15 minutes, three or four times a day, until the redness goes away. Then soothe the skin with aloe-vera gel or a mild moisturizer.
Avoid oil massage till rashes ll cured completely..Cool baby's skin with a lukewarm bath. Use a mild soap and apply mild lotion after, which can further block skin pores. The rash will usually fade within a week, but consult the doctor if you see pustules and swelling..
Dress baby with loose light weight and washed cotton cloths..Reason for heat rashes are body heat and lack of ventilation..hence, dont make baby to cuddle in sling..otherwise make baby to have cool environment..
Plz go through the articles in babychakra app in summer section..u ll get a gross idea..take care 😊

coconut oil is best in summer for cooling....as everyone recommended please check on baby's clothing and very important keep a check on changing baby's cloth as sometime bacterias comes from clothes...never let anyone touch ur baby without washing hands or with dirty clothes.....always Change ur baby's clothes after you are back from some place out like hospital, market, restaurants etc....clean ur baby before putting her to sleep....I wish ur baby good health...god bless
Hi I am confused.... Is it due to summer or any other thing
