Q:

Does pineapple cause rashes?

Dhara Popat

it does contain some citric acid, so while it may not be as acidic as other fruits.. it still may be hard on your baby’s digestive system. Consuming citric acids typically results in a rash.
If your baby is very sensitive to new foods, it is best to hold off introducing pineapple into their diet until after his or her first birthday, as even the small amount of citric acid found in pineapples may upset their digestive system.
If your child is not sensitive to new foods, you can give your baby a small piece of a pineapple around eight to ten months of age. You should, however, limit it to a small piece to see if there is a reaction.

Don't give pineapple.. Wait till one year. Pineapple won't suit all... To some it may cause rashes, allergy, allergic cough, increase acidity and heartburn. Try other fruits..now it's mango season...you can give that.. ( but anything in moderation).
