Hi..Why should v avoid salt and sugar to babies and y no cow milk till one year??

Roopashree Siddireddy

Hai Manju... as baby is too small and their organs are not yet developed like us. Salt and sugar intake can be heavy on their tiny liver and kidney. Salt and sugar are for taste and nothing more than that. Cow's milk will be difficult to digest and can lead to loose motions, stomach ache and even some kids have lactose intolerance.

babies under a year are more at risk for allergic reactions when giving cow's milk.baby’s salt requirement per day is less than 1 g per day  and this is mostly met by the breastmilk or formula.

adding to Roopashree Siddireddy..
Sugar is considered as a slow alcoholic in babies..It hampers the brain development..So strict no for salt n sugar n cow milk..
