hello ladies,
I am 17 weeks pregnant. I had an appointment with doctor today. she checked my weight and said I am supposed to gain 2kgs weight every month. but there isn't any increase in my weight since day 1. I eat all nutritious food and very healthy otherwise. she said if I don't gain weight there is going to be a problem. why am I not gaining weight??

Dont worry. Try to eat more proteins like nuts, eggs, etc and eat small meals in every few hours. Have small portions of dry fruits as snacks. And take your iron and calcium supplements regularly. All this will help you gain weight

nothing to worry i also not gained any weight in my pregnacy up to 7 month then i gained weight in 8 and 9 month only 3 kg bt doc told me nothing to worry and i delivered a healthy baby .only eat well nd dont take stress about not gaining weight it will reduce u more. so be happy

please don't take tention forget everything things. it's going good just things about your baby eat well don't take stress ..same problems with me when I was pregnant ..and m start to gained weight after 6 ,7,8,9 month.and delivered healthy baby... Don't worry dear.

have threptin biscuits..it is a good source of protein...ur alternate meal should contain protein and fiber i.e. one meal protein and other fibre and so on...

If you have started pregnancy at a normal weight then weight gain expected is the 10 to 14 kilos thru the pregnancy.  If baby is developing well then we don't worry so much about moms weight gain. Eating the wrong foods will actually make you gain the wrong weight and that will lead to pregnancy complications.
