Is walker good for babies ? when should we introduce it ?

Walker is not recommended as it hinders with baby's instinct to get up and walk by herself. Usually babies who do not use walker tend to learn to walk earlier.

agree wth Sheeba Vijesh - never used one! babies walk around holding the furniture!

yes..  sheeba vijesh s absolutely correct..  paediatricians never allow Walkers as it slows babies development like walking and moving around..

but Jaya Ghosh Sharma I have used it..  when my baby can sit properly..  Cz I have no other go..  as nobody here to help me to take care  baby while am cooking washing..  cleaning..  etc..  if u can have any help from elders..  pls don't go fa it..

rightly said by Sheeba Vijesh it's not recommended but Ashika Imthiyaz you are also right and my sister also used walker for her girl and boy and they were walking by 10 months....I think it depends on how baby uses the walker.... it's not harmful for active babies but some babies delay due to this...my daughter has also started standing holding me and I am also thinking what to do....will put her in walker for 2-3 days and see if she is using it well....will remove if not....she started crawling on bed....
