Q:

More swelling in my legs is it normal?

Eshita Shah

There can be two reasons one is your bp high?. If BP is high it may cause swelling in your legs. Otherwise as the water content in your body increases this may cause swelling which is normal. However tell your doc about it.

Evaluate your diet and reduce salt intake. Salt comes not only in regular food but also in processed foods like bread sauces and anything which is packaged. Avoid these items. Increase intake of coconut water bananas etc as these are high in potassium. Avoid sitting and standing in one position for long. Do calf and ankle exercises. Also elevate your feet.
