Congratulations! By when are you planning for a baby?
Congratulations! How many weeks are you?
I have a
1 year old baby
hi gousiya - ur question is not clear. are u saying ur breasts are heavy and sore because baby didnt feed properly? in that case u can have a warm bath which will help release the excess milk and u wont suffer from engorged breasts. if u are worried about the milk "stored in breast" that is fine - it will not harm baby so no need to "throw away". good luck - all new moms face this issue!
thank u dear
Dr.Shilpitha Shanthappa Sheeba Vijesh Dhara Popat - any other advise?
hi Giusiya, if breasts are feeling full, you can remove some milk by yourself with hand. it will give you relief... if baby is ready to feed then its perfectly ok to feed, will not cause baby any harm. but why is baby not feeding well? is she not feeling well? thanks for the tag asha chaudhry
Dr. Shilpitha Shanthappa
first find the reason y baby is nt feeding well...
if baby is full, then pump BM and discard it...u ll be releived from pain..
if baby wants to feed but not latching properly then plz extract BM and feed by using spoon n bowl..if this is the reason then plz consult lactation expert once..
thanx fa tag asha chaudhry
hi gousiya you can massage on your breast with your hands so that you feel relieved with the pain. Than remove the stored milk pressing it downwards or u can use breast pump to pump. out the milk. Meanwhile u can try to use vati n spoon to feed the baby. If still he is refusing than kindly check with the doctor for the reason dear as the baby is too small so dnt delay
