Q:

Hi,
I recently underwent a 20 week u/s scan and am worried about my report. It mentions as follows:
Posterior low lying placenta 46mm from os.
Retroplacental space: normal.
internal os is closed. cx length 40mm.
Expected foetal weight: 414g
Foetal maturity: 21wks 3 days
Single intrauterine gestational in... longitudinal, lie... vertex.
cardiac activity 144bpm
Is posterior low lying placenta a matter of serious concern?
