Hi i am 13 weeks pregnant and have been diagonised with tyroid ..please help me is it safe for my baby?how can it be controlled?

Thyroid is relatively common in Pregnancy. Your doctor will prescribe you appropriate medication to control it. You will also be asked to do blood test after 4-6 weeks to check it.

Thyroid if controlled is surely safe for the baby. If the levels are not in the normal range the doctor will prescribe the medications for the same. Diet wise you could restrict intake of soy, peanuts, groundnuts, walnuts, cabbage, cauliflower and broccoli.

Thank you.my THS level is in normal range except t3 and t4.does it requires medication?
