If the child is above 1 year you can add. Avoid before 1 year because salt is too much for their tiny kidneys. Every vegetables, fruits, dal, rice, wheat, breast milk, formula milk has natural salt which is enough for the babies.

You can add salt only if child is above one year.. however you can make it tasty through spices like haldi, dhaniya powder, a pinch of pepper and garam Masala..put hing and zeera in hot ghee..that also gives good flavor
