Don't go for it dear I understand how it feels but it's temporary your kid will be alright next day but if you choose other way it might be a problem for life so better follow your doctor. Make sure to give vaccination on the other leg not on the previous side...use ice pack it's very helpful....you can give crocin drops if fever comes....make him wear cotton loose clothes avoid diaper....make him engage in rhymes songs cartoons..all the best

Dr. Shilpitha Shanthappa

Yes , i can understand your concern... if you have already took two painful vaccine, then go for it again... because in painless- there is faster period of waning means the immunity provided may decrease faster than painful one... and disease recurrence is more.. so i recommend painful...

Except BCG that was given the first day of birth all i gave to my baby is painless vaccination.
Is is not as useful as painful Dr. Shilpitha...Even i am confused...

Dr. Shilpitha Shanthappa

nothing like that it is useful... more doctors prefer painful as it ll provide more immunity span

Sweta Nagubandi

always prefer painful vaccines. they work well and boost more Immunity

Harneet (clanpedia)

painful always. as mentioned above , the immunity provided is more. dont settle cause ur child is in pain now. immunity is built for life. pain is temprary..

theres a lot of ongoing debates the world over abt painless vs painfull (normal) vs no vaccines. theres no reliable info i feel. big pharma companies involved after all!!ive followed my pediatricians advice n given painless vaccines when available n painful otherwise.
