yes India gate is a wonderful place to be, yes people throng it on Sundays, bring big picnic baskets along with their families and have fun.. yes every Indian feels patriotic once you look at the wonderful Indian flag fluttering... but after hearing so many incidents about children getting lost / mis tracked, i have lost the confidence to take my child there..

if you are just friends, or a couple who wants to hang out, spend some time together, sure go and visit the place. its a treat in the evenings, but with kids, if you are going, please make sure you do not leave your kids unattended wht so ever the situation be. there is street food that is available, but pls take your home cooked food or snacks for your children. when you click photographs, please make sure that you children are right in front of you and not running behind some man blowing bubbles in the air.

Its a great place to enjoy with friends and family, but do be a little over cautious with children around you.
