I have been to Qutub Minar twice , one when I was around 10 years old and second after my marriage. First thing which I really don't like that the iron pillar is now surrounded with fence and we can put our arms around it. But they must have done it for a reason.
I definitely suggest to hire a guide if you want to have fun there because without a guide you will get bored very soon. You will be surprised to see iron pillar which never rust. Don't forget to take Minar's close pictures. I wish I could climb the stairs also.
Babies who cannot walk may not find it very amazing so try to engage them with something..Avoid to go on a hot day as there is no covered area there however beautiful garden. Good place for clicks.
