As a mom who lives in mumbai where space & storage are huge concerns toy libraries are a big boon. What you also do realise in due course is that its not only about what and how much you can store but also the options and choices that parents and children have in terms of exposure. Toy libraries bring in that expertise & variety which we as parents find it hard to do.

Also as first time parents you will struggle with what your child will be able to do at what age. You will need someone to guide you saying at age 6 months this is what is recommended or age 2 years this is what is recommended.

What i love about this place is the space is done up in a very child friendly manner and kids love being at Beetroot. Its not a small toy library with space enough for just one person to get in and out. It gives you time to come with your child, choose & interact with the toys and then pick them for the week. The staff is extremely helpful and they do watch and interact with the kids while you select the toys. They will also assist you in selecting the toys basis the age of your child.

I would recommend beetroot to moms whose kids are infants to preschoolers as they have excellent toys which involve gross motor & fine motor skills. You will find a lot of Melissa & Doug here.

They have book collection from infant to the age of 12 which is excellent and i highly recommend this place.
