Lodhi Colony

I went to lodhi garden recently, and to my surprise, it is a very, very huge place. I wonder why i never went there before. There is umpteen space for all families, and the gentry is pretty nice, as they understand being at a public place.

they have green patches everywhere, with a small pond with ducks, historical buildings that make for an awesome photography background by the way!

The ducks, however, are known to bite kids and the pond does not have any boundaries that may prevent little children from getting in. so wth kids less than 4 years, the pond area should be avoided.

it is extremely blissful to visit the place in winters on a sunny day.

There are loos, though they are usually crowded, there are no snacks available inside, however some outlets like dominos and slice of italy do deliver within premises.

Whenever you visit the place for a picnic with large groups, be very careful of the gate numbers and point of meet as it can get very chaotic and confusing. Parking on weekends is also very difficult and you may have to walk a distance in order to get into the park.

But the place is clean, neat and tremendous fun!! Dont forget to carry your frisbees and some ball to play with :-)
