I had one Saturday morning free to my 4-year old and myself. I happen to see something about The Caterpillar Trail on Facebook. To my surprise, it was just a hop-skip-jump from where I reside. This Play Area is very close to Amruth Nagar Police Station. Probably a little difficult to locate for people who don't reside nearby but Preeti, the owner was very helpful in guiding me to the address.

Over 2500 sq ft area spread on 2 floors of edutainment, my son had an enjoyable morning. What better way to kick start the weekend for a toddler?

While birthday parties are held in the ground floor, the main play area is on 1st floor. It has a kitchen interconnected to a mini dining area.

The toddler area encompasses toys majorly selected on the basis of sensory play activities and more. Pretend play such as kitchen set, doll house, blocks, etc. make up this zone.

One would not miss to notice that all the rooms at The Caterpillar Trail are abnormally high; an advantage that this play area has exploited superlatively. A huge linkage between a tunnel, steps of ladder and a slide all lead to a humongous ball pool.

The mini library possesses a good mix of Touch n Feel, story books, picture books, board books, etc.

This is fairly a new setup - less than 5 months. And it has already hosted many workshops including Art n Craft, theatre, story session, Handy Manny carpentry, baking, dance and sewing classes and the list continues. The only improvement that I'd suggest is any sort of provision for vehicle parking to be a little smoother.

An arrangement to commence a daycare is in the cards. The Caterpillar Trail charges Rs. 150/hour per child + parent for the age bracket 1-4 years and Rs. 200/hour per child + parent for children above 4 years.
