Ingredients
1 Wheat chapati/ roti
2-3 small pieces of jaggery
¼ tbsp ghee
How to prepare
- Cut the chapati into small pieces
- Add jaggery and ghee to it.
- Mash the mixture well using you hands till it becomes smooth.
- Make 6-7 small portions in the form of ladoos and let your kiddo enjoy !

1 cup spinach (blanched)

How to prepare
- To blanch the spinach, add 1 cup of spinach to boiling water and boil it for 2-3 minutes. After boiling it immediately transfer the spinach to ice water.
- Remove the spinach from the ice water and add it to a blender.
- Add a pinch of salt and cumin powder and blend the mixture well.
- Add water to adjust the consistency.

Ingredients
1 small potato (peeled and grated)
1 egg
Salt
Pepper
Turmeric

How to prepare
- In a pan heat ½ tbsp oil.
- Add the grated potato and cook it for 2-3 mins (till it’s soft).
- Add a pinch of salt, turmeric, and pepper.
- Break 1 egg and keep mixing (3-4 mins).
- Transfer it to a bowl and serve it.
Chickpea (channa) is high in protein, fiber, and iron. It’s a good food option for your baby’s diet. To make it more delicious you can add vegetables of your choice. In this recipe, we will be adding tomato and potato.

2 tbsp Chickpeas/ channa (soaked overnight)
1 small potato
1 small tomato

How to prepare
- Pressure cook the overnight soaked chickpeas with 1 cup of water for about 6-7 whistles.
- Peel the potato and pressure cook the potato and tomato with 1 cup of water for 2 whistles.
- Allow the pressure to release and both the mixtures to cool down.
- Once it cools, add both the mixtures to a blender.
- Add a pinch of salt, turmeric, and jaggery (optional) to the mixture and blend it well.
- Transfer it to a bowl and let your baby enjoy.
Beetroot puree is a quick and super healthy preparation for your little one. Besides beetroot, it has the added goodness of bottle gourd (lauki) and carrot. It’s an extremely nutritious and easy-to-make food option for new eaters.
Ingredients
1 small piece of Bottle gourd (lauki)
¼ beetroot
¼ carrot
Salt
How to prepare
Peel all the vegetables well and cut them into small pieces.
Add all the vegetables to a pan with 1 cup of water and a pinch of salt.
Boil the mixture for 15 mins (till the vegetables become soft).
Allow the mixture to cool down and then blend it in a blender.
Transfer the mixture to a bowl and serve it warm.
