Hello moms..... Today am Sharing an easy recepie of lobia ....though many moms know this,just wanted to share its benefits. Lobia or black eyes peas are rich in fibre,potassium and vitamins which are loaded with lot of healthy benefits. Potassium belps in muscle strength and metabolism.
And this is giod diet for toddlers and even adults too. Receipe: 1. Lobia (boiled)
Soak it for 6-8 hours.
3. Ghee /oil .
4. Green chillies (optional for kids). 1. Soak the lobia for 6-8 hours.
2. Cook them in pressure cooker for 4-5 whistles (for soft if for toddlers) .
3. Strain them.
4. Heat a pan,add ghee and then onion ,saute them.
5. When caramelized, add salt,turmeric, green chillies, mirchi powder.
6.now add the cooked lovia and saute for 5 minutes.
7. Ready to have them. You can just make a salad out of it ,after boiled.
Instant Jain uttapam is quick breakfast and evening snacks recipe...Its made with semoilna (Rava)and veggies.
This is an anytime go to snack for kids and adults both.
Healthier versions can be made with roasted oats powder or wheat flour also but today I have of rava. Ingredients -
1 cup Rava (semolina/sooji)
1/4 cup slightly sour Curd (yogurt)
1/4 cup finely chopped Capsicum
1 large Tomato, finely chopped
2 Green Chillies, finely chopped
1 teaspoon grated Ginger
1/4 cup finely chopped Coriander Leaves
1 teaspoon Oil, + for shallow frying
1teaspoon jeera powder
1teaspoon pavbhaji masala
Salt to taste. How to make the batter and veggies for toppings the uttapam
Take rava, sour curd and salt in a large bowl.
Take a bowl add capsicum, tomato, green chillies, coriander leaves, jeera powder and pav bhaji masala keep a aside. How to make ?
Heat non-stick tawa or griddle over medium flame.
Add few drops of oil on the surface of tawa and spread it into the circle with the help of spoon and top of it add veggies masala.Cook from color of top and other side till the color changes to brown and crispy. Once it is cooked from both the side serve hot with tomato ketchup or tomato chutney.😋😋😋
