If the current heat wave is any indication, we are likely to reach boiling point by the time summer is through. So beat the heat and head out to these amazing water spots in and around Mumbai. Just chill!

 

1. Water KingdomThis famous water park also happens to be Asia’s largest! With the distinction of being India’s oldest water park, Water Kingdom boasts of a footfall of almost 1.8 million throughout the year. Located in Gorai, in close proximity to the city, Water Kingdom prides itself on housing the largest wave pool and having rides built as per international quality standards. Even with new attractions being added, some old ones, such as the Artificial Beach, remain an all-time favourite. Water Kingdom has such a place of pride in the hearts of some that it has become a tradition for families to visit it every summer.

2. Tikuji-ni-WadiThis fun little water park is a great weekend getaway especially for people living in and around Thane and Navi Mumbai. With the sole objective of providing its customers extreme fun and entertainment, they have a Lazy River, Family Pool and the all-age favourite, Wave Pool. 3. Suraj Water ParkAlso known as the “Pride of Maharashtra”, Suraj Water Park has won several national and international awards. Located just 7 kms. from Thane, this magnificent park finds its name in the Limca Book of Records. Known for keeping its visitors happy, Suraj Water Park appeals to visitors of all age groups. The favourite amongst all the rides available is the Har Har Gange. Modelled on the river Ganges, this ride is able to accommodate about 350 people together, giving them the experience of being under a natural waterfall.
