Almost the size of a kumquat, your baby is about 4-5cm long and weighs about 5 grams.

The little one’s sensory organs are now coming to life, with the taste and tooth buds already developed! The nose and lips are completely formed and the little one can exhibit a wide range of facial expressions. This means that your baby can now smile, frown, grimace and even cry! Aww!

The baby looks completely formed by this week and the tiny details start filling in. If you could look closely, you would see peach-fuzz hair on the body and nails forming on the fingers and toes. The baby’s brain continues to grow at an amazing rate with a quarter of a million neurons growing every minute!
